Parents
can see class teachers at convenient times whenever there is a concern,
and teachers are available for quick words at the end of each school
day. Minor worries can often be dealt with immediately, ongoing
concerns may require a specific appointment with the class teacher. We
do advise parents to speak to their child’s class teacher in the first
instance as any worries or queries can often be very quickly resolved
in this way. Senior members of staff responsible for your child’s phase
will also be available to meet with parents if appropriate. Parents

teacher or Headteacher. Class teachers are available for quick words at
the end of the school day. Parent
consultations are held at regular intervals during the year. These
provide opportunities for teachers to discuss children’s individual
progress with parents. Individual learning
targets are shared with parents at the beginning and end of the school
year. Written progress reports are sent to all parents during the
Spring Term (Term 2). Curriculum letters are
sent to all parents at the beginning of each term. These provide
information about what is being taught, so that parents are well
prepared to support their child’s learning through additional
activities (i.e. homework, research, visits to museums etc.). |
